Capri

There’s not much I need to say that can’t be shown better by a photograph. So I’ll keep it short.

Brittany and Tyler came to visit us in Tuscany and followed along until Sicily. They stopped in Capri during their honeymoon. We were so so so relieved the step aside from planning and to let them do all the work.

We love love love love boats. And the water. 

We chartered a boat around the island, hoping from grotto to grotto. Not pictured: Grotta Azura. It’s dangerous to get in and amazing once you’re there. From our boat, we got into a smaller boat, and squeezed ourselves under the wooden plank-seat. With one big row, our tiny boat captain expertly sent us through a treacherously rocky and narrow arch. The inside of the grotto is dark and cool. The water glows with the most unreal fluorescent blue color.
