Chiang Mai
All truly good food comes with a risk. At least in our travels. Definitely, at least in Chiang Mai.
99% of the time we eat all the deliciously questionable food. Unless we have a flight the next day or a long car ride ahead of us. Then maybe we’ll skip the raw pork or at least opt for tourist-mild instead of local-spicy. But most of the time—we’re all in.
Chiang Mai is food heaven, wrapped up in a big charcoal grilled banana leaf, swimming in a bowl of hearty Khao Soi broth, laying on a bed of sticky rice. This is the only place I will allow myself to shamelessly eat three big, fatty, porky meals a day. I LOVE Chiang Mai.
